Mohamad A. Chakaki is a PhD student at the Aga Khan Program for Islamic Architecture. His interests are at the intersection of education, the environment, and design. Mohamad is currently researching the connections and/or contradictions across campus planning and curriculum design in the new universities developing in Persian Gulf states like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates.
